1930’s Martin restoration

This 1930’s Martin came in to the shop needing quite a bit of attention. We first removed the back so we could repair the extensive damage on the inside. The old bridge plate was so worn that it had to be removed and new bridge plate was reinstalled ,we reglued the tail block , the top was so bowed that it had to be flatted back out, all back braces removed and reglued, new ebony bridge was made along with a bone saddle. There was also some random missing wood and some of the top purfling had to be replaced. Then it received a complete refinish.
