Kyle Thomas Majnaric is an Ohio native who has been involved in music his entire life. Growing up he took lessons on several instruments including: piano, bass guitar, lead guitar, voice, and even trombone. Thomas was influenced by a wide spectrum of music stretching from gospel to classic rock. In high school he was involved select choir and ensemble, landed lead roles in musical theatre, and lead the varsity football team as the quarterback. He also participated in vocal competitions held at local colleges where he received unanimous superior ratings in both the musical theatre and classical categories for three years straight. After graduating in the top twenty-five in his class, Thomas set his sights on West Virginia University. He decided to focus on athletics despite being hindered by two back surgeries. Kyle worked hard to rehabilitate himself and walked on to the football team at West Virginia University. During his stent on the Mountaineer football team Kyle got involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at WVU. He was elected into a leadership role in the organization and led the group in worship. This is where he reconnected with his love for music. Thomas decided to step away from the team his senior year to focus on his music. He spent his final year in college writing music and playing out at local venues.
Thomas went to New York City to try out for the Voice where he got a callback, but did not make it through the next round. He hopes to try out again and make it further. In the May of 2015 he graduated Summa Cum Laude from WVU with his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. Thomas returned to Ohio to work with producers Joe Vitale and Chris Wintrip in the studio and cut a six-song demo. The original songs have caught some Nashville attention and labels in music city are currently reviewing Thomas. While waiting for responses Kyle continues to write and play music. He has recently started practicing with a band and is excited to transition from acoustic performances to full band shows.
